The Greats

These are the films I’ve written about that have stood the test of time. Either instantly well-received, or having slowly gained acclaim over time, these films are considered The Greats, and I feel so too.

Listed Chronologically:

Paths of Glory (1957) – Stanley Kubrick

Ivan’s Childhood (1962) – Andrei Tarkovsky

8 1/2 (1963) – Federico Fellini

Days of Heaven (1978) – Terrence Malick

Come and See (1985) – Elem Klimov

The Thin Red Line (1998) – Terrence Malick
